Samsung asked us to find a way to show the brand in an appealing way to gen z/young millennials. After two succes cases with personalised videos for Samsung (Valentijn and Celebrity) where I also came up with the concepts and did strategy for, we decided it was time to go bigger. Can we use this personalisation technique to make the worlds first personalised music video with the biggest artist of that moment, Lil' Kleine!
The idea was simple, make a great music video with an action movie like plot. Show in the normal video an anonymous accomplice and let people 'confess' that they were that accomplice in the video.
Once the music video was live, we targetted with dynamic content on different target groups to explain how you could make your own personalised video. Here is mine:
Whilst it was mainly a branding video, we had the opportunity to make it product focused without that being too annoying. With over 124.000 unique personalised videos made we can say the campaign was a succes!
